Neon Pagamentos S.A.

Principal Software Architect : august / 2021 - actual
  • I act as a technical leader in the architecture team to support other architects (specialists and seniors) in various subjects involving architecture. At the corporate level, I lead initiatives to study, design and implement practices at corporate level (eg API governance). Together with the architecture manager, we make technology decisions in the context of architecture and help teams negotiate and resolve conflicts. I participate in interviews to bring more people to the architecture team and use my network of colleagues and friends to exchange ideas about technology.

Itaú Unibanco S.A.

IT Engineering Specialist I : may / 2021 - august / 2021
  • I act as a Chapter Cloud with the responsibility of helping all squads to implement solutions using the public cloud (AWS). I still act as Tech Lead of a squad with the objective of evolving the OnShore Fixed Income system in Treasury products, tendo como principal desafio encarar um sistema com linguagem obsoleta (VB6) com algumas décadas de existência. The squad team members are employees and partners that extend the squad, where we are 7 people in total.
    Among the projects there is a lot of legal demand (PIX as an example) and evolution of some products according to market needs.
Senior Systems Engineer : may / 2017 - may / 2021
  • I act as Tech Lead of a squad with the objective of evolving the OnShore Fixed Income system in Treasury products, tendo como principal desafio encarar um sistema com linguagem obsoleta (VB6) com algumas décadas de existência. The squad team members are employees and partners that extend the squad, where we are 7 people in total.
    Among the projects there is a lot of legal demand (PIX as an example) and evolution of some products according to market needs. At this moment I also play the role of squad's P.O. treating backlog of both projects and occurrences in a Build & Run model.
  • As a senior analyst I had the opportunity to work on various types of projects, previously with Payments and Digital Cash.
    In Payments I delivered what was the beginning of what we know today as an ITI product and I also delivered Interoperability between financial institutions (via payment account) leading a development team with 9 people.
    In Digital Cash, I delivered the system on the distributed platform, which allows changes to basic billing fees, being the first productive Digital Cash solution to use the PaaS of the Itaú private cloud.
    I experienced the change of the IT structure for the delivery communities where I was invited to make a pilot in the Payments community, where I was able to lead a team for a legal demand project at the bank.
  • My current career moment is the search for a position as a specialist in systems engineering. In all of my performance evaluations my technical "side" is highlighted, in addition I am constantly updated and have solid knowledge in distributed architecture. I seek to acquire more technical knowledge of what I consider to be essential for the future and to improve leadership skills to exercise this position of Specialist.
Systems Analyst : july / 2015 - may / 2017
  • I worked in both the support team (where I was promoted) and projects (where I went later). In support I worked with definitive problem solving (level 2 of service), I was responsible for the migration of some Wealth Management Services systems to the new Mogi Mirim Data Center, acting as a focal point and following the migrations. In projects I delivered the e-Financeira, which consisted of sending information to the Federal Revenue through services leading a small team of developers.
  • As a full analyst, I already aimed to improve my leadership skills to achieve a senior position. In addition, it sought opportunities to exercise leadership and to participate in projects of relevance to the bank. I experienced the "horizontalization" of the T.I. at the bank where I chose to go to the former Directorate of Systems Development, to further explore my technical skills coupled with opportunities in leadership of development teams.
Junior Systems Analyst : august / 2011 - july / 2015
  • I joined the bank to work in Wealth Management Services systems where my first challenge was to improve the performance of an information reconciliation system. It was with this first challenge that I decided to get my first international SQL Server certification from Microsoft. I went through some systems and several projects of all sizes led by other analysts. It was in this period that I learned something very valuable that I will never forget, something that a manager I had said to me: "No you already have, look for yes".
  • I was able to take advantage of the opportunities I had as a junior analyst, being an inspiration to other people the moment I was promoted to full. I remember the context that was in something that another analyst told me at the time, which was more or less in the following sense: "you allowed us to believe that it is possible to be promoted in the bank". There were always meritocratic assessments at the bank, but for some reason some people still didn't believe that with a lot of work and relevant deliveries, we could move on. I still have this with me today because I believe that the foundations I gained as a junior serve as an example for the new generations that are arriving, that a job well done will be rewarded.

Cooperative Programmer : march / 2008 - february / 2009
  • I worked most of the time as a VB6 programmer (using SQL Server and Oracle) for solutions aimed at the tax, fiscal and accounting segments. I believe that the most significant part of this experience I had was the total blocking of the internet on the developers' stations. We only had help files available for both VB6 and SQL Server Books Online to answer our questions. This shows that it is possible to do a good job as a developer without using the internet, a learning that very few people today even because of the current characteristics of a globally connected world.

Systems development internship : march / 2006 - march / 2008
  • Despite working as an intern, I had the opportunity to supervise 2 other interns, still early and with few references in relation to leadership of people. It was the most tiring experience I had as I worked while I was in college, turning nights and nights due to some company projects. It was a beautiful school to learn programming and mainly because of the company's business: automation. I was able to program making a connection between the software and various instruments aimed at industrial quality (calipers, dial indicator, etc.). It was the only experience I had in the industrial environment, but I think it was where I met many customers and saw up close the problems that needed to be solved.

IT technical support internship : october / 2005 - march / 2006
  • I worked more as technical support for the company's tourism analysts, I also did other more administrative activities. It was an important stage because I was able to experience what customer service is and how they feel supported by the presence of someone who can quickly solve problems. It was the first job that I was able to work on a little bit with programming, albeit on a platform of its own and little known on the market.

IT Internship : august / 2004 - september / 2005
  • Practically my first 40-hour week job! I didn't know anything about companies, products and services. My role was only administrative: I created work orders, quotes, helped with the warehouse, one or another computer service, etc. But it was an excellent experience for me to know what a company is and especially how to behave in a corporate environment.
